This dataset contains estimates on per capita personal income for each state in the U.S. Per capita personal income is total personal income divided by total midyear population.
These estimates were computed using midyear population estimates of the Bureau of the Census released in December 2006. Estimates for the years 2003-2005 have been revised from previous estimates of state personal income.
