I uploaded this data to Swivel on December 13, 2006. This is the BEA's data set which the fed uses to track inflation: The Personal Consumption Expenditures: Chain-type Price Index. I've removed 1959 and added a column to the data tracking the annual inflation rate. Note that the data is seasonally adjusted.
