Coalition leaders must be immune to the real costs of this war, or in psychotic denial. Graphs of people physically injured in direct conflict, though not killed, and of those affected by debilitating emotional injuries, would help give a truer picture of the human cost. I have seen these stats for the US military, though not for Iraqis. And then there are those who suffer incidentally, (death, trauma, deprivation and fear), due to living in a war zone, who will appear in documentaries and movies for decades to come, but who may never be counted.
