Hexane and Octane Removal Data

Hey, Chaitanya, any idea how you remove 8000% of something? Or am I reading your graph wrong?

It was a mistake in the spreadsheet. I put number type as percentage but inputed a whole number, thus, we get 8000%!

The method is called Membranes Separation Method. Here is the EPA description as part of the report: "In the process, organic
vapor-laden air contacts one side of a membrane that is permeable
to organic vapors but relatively impermeable to air. A partial
vacuum, applied to the other side, draws the organic vapor
through the membrane. The permeate vapor is then compressed
and condensed to recover the organic fraction. The purified
airstream is removed on the feed side." This method is still being tested, so it is not in widespread use yet, when testing is over, the EPA will release the information and recommendations.
