This graph is confusing.

It seems at first glance that (for example) 100% of Dominican women were married by age 15 in 1970. I think that's because it uses the "relative values" on the y axis, which just means that 1970 was the all-time-high for Dominican girls being married, right?

Also, in the Absolute view, these countries are further apart from each other than it appears in this "relative values" view, which seems to scale each country separately up to 100%.

Am I right in thinking that the underlying data table reflects the percentage of girls under 16 who are married?

i like the relative view as ell b/c you get more of sense of how the countries compare to the other, not just absolute values alone.

the absolute view is also interesting - more dominicans married by age 15 than the other countries listed for the latest year - though previous years had egypt and benin with more.
