trying to see if there is a correlation between greenhouse emissions and the number of disasters declared in the US since 1980. does not appear to be the case. —swoodie

Careful - this graph is somewhat fallacious since it's *per capita* greenhouse emissions. That means the emissions have been normalized by the increasing US population, but the environmental disasters have not.
