While the number of computer science bachelors degrees in the U.S. continues to rise, the recent decline in female recipients (bottom) should be a wake up call to educators. Data provided by Swiveler jmvidal. —Grizzo

I think the fact that there are 3x as many men as women in computer science is more of an issue. The Internet will be the most influential tool of this century, and the fact that it is 75%+ male (at least in the U.S.) seems like a huge issue.

I bet the minorities graph shows an exponential growth of Asian and South-Asians in the IT sector. What Indian guy doesn't know Java? ;-)

You should normalize this against the data for men and women getting Bachelors degrees in the US (in any field). In 1960, the ration of men to women of Bachelors degrees in the US was about 1.6:1. In 2003 it was 1:1.3. This means that the gender inequality for Computer Science is actually worse than it looks on your graph.

This graph seems to imply that the gap between men and women widened in the past few years. I agree you should normalize this to see if that really is the case. If so, that's alarming...
