There is something seriously wrong with the way American Idol tallies votes. Prediction markets are uncannily accurate predictors of outcomes that rely on mass psychology (http://bpp.wharton.upenn.ed...)
and yet the obvious outcome on May 16 was VERY far from the prediction market. This feeds into my conspiracy theory that American Idol is actually rigged.
