Q how much gasoline did the U.S. save during the 1960's oil shortage by lowering the Speed limit on Interstate highways to 55mph.
If the 55mph limit was good then why isn't it good now? The way I see it is, then; we had a gasoline shotage because of capacity limitations and now we have a an inflationary limitation because oil/gas traders are buidding up the price based on scare tactics and greed not because of shortage of oil/gas and/or capacity limitations.
