I would think that on road cars would create a lot more emissions than anything else, just based on the sheer number of cars on the road. Very intereresting!

I'm surprised that the industry-related emissions are so low, since industry is supposedly a major polluter. Private activities like wood combustion are much higher than industry.

This graph reflects the impact of our car-obsessed society on the environment. Seriously, imagine America without cars- it would be a totally different world. THe graph shows that if we trully want to protect our environment by limiting emissions, we must find a way to either build greener cars or find a way to eliminate the need for cars in our society.
