The on road emissions of sulfur dioxide are very high, but in comparison to the amount of cars driven to the amount of fires, its percentage is lower than that of the fires.

This data just reemphasizes the need to research cleaner sources of fuel so that in hundreds of years from now we will still have a clean environment.
