crazy apple rumors (http://www.crazyapplerumors...)
this is the current data for Ryan Wilkin's Analysis: In a scientific analysis conducted by PC user Ryan Wilkins, Macs proved to be 15 times gayer than comparably equipped PCs. “I went into this with an open mind,” said Wilkins. “I didn’t know how much gayer Macs were than PCs. I was prepared to accept any result that was a positive number.” Wilkins’ methodology involved first Googling the phrase “Macs are gay” and then Googling the phrase “PCs are gay” and comparing the results. Wilkins received 132 hits for the first search and 9 hits for the second, leading him to an incontrovertible conclusion. “By dividing 132 by 9 and getting 14.6, I then applied a process statisticians call ’rounding’ to determine that Macs are 15 times gayer than PCs,” Wilkins said. Wilkins declined to offer any commentary on the implications of his findings. —kalendae

I feel the sexuality of all computers is a difficult subject. I mean, for starters, they’re horrendously promiscuous, all connected to each other like that. And given that really there are no distinguishing features, I conclude that all computers are the same sex, and thus all gay. (quote stolen)

hahaha! for typical Mac incompetence, look at this mac user's attempt at responding to this data: http://swivel.com/graphs/sh... can't even do a search right.

it makes sense.. the mac users just want it to work. type in your phrase, and get your result. no obscure requirement for having to put your search in quotes just so that you get the results you want.

You people need to stop hijacking the thread and trying to divert attention away from the fact that macs are undeniably gayer than pcs.

We cannot argue with this data set's "scientific analysis." This is why Apple gave up on their PowerPC system and switched their computers over to Intel and Microsoft PC.

PC: "Oh jee, I feel sick"
Mac: "Really? You must have one of those millions of viruses created each year for PCs. Haha, PCs are so stupid. Microsoft is my rival."
PC: "Why don't macs get viruses? Is it because you have superior anti-virus software?"
Mac: "No... its because nobody gives enough of a %#@# to make a Mac virus. =("
PC: "Wow, that's pretty sad, let's play some Oblivion to cheer ourselves up."
Mac: "I can't play Oblivion, it only runs at 2fps for me.'
PC: "You know what, you can just go stand over there now."

All computers are gay. Your data just proves that more people discuss Macs' -homo- sexuality because they are better looking and have more disposable income.

this just means that people who are pro-PC are typically politically-incorrect homophobes.

quotes make sense in google, it allows u to search a phrase and not just things related to the words. If you can't remember the name of a film, you'd type actors names and words related to it or something, and if you know the name of the film you'd write it in quotes to find out more about it.

Macs are ok, but the mac user is the problem, pc's don't crash if you know how to use one. Mac users use it for surfing the internet and work, and if that's all you use a PC for you'll have no problems with it at all. If you're a hardcore gamer and you download alot of files, then you have to choose a PC, so saying a Mac doesn't crash is only because it doesn't support and extreme use at all.

And macs do crash too, i've seen it happen, its happened to me, programs unexpectedely quit, its just they quit faster than a pc and you have no chance of getting the work back.

Macs are a few fancy features with a flashy interface, they don't get messed up as much because your family members can't possibly use them for anything other than set programs called iLife so they can't mess it up because theres not much else they can use it for.

I like mac's, i do, i will probably buy one soon but theres no way i'm replacing my pc, because how do i upgrade a mac? How do i overclock it? How do i open it up and learn how it works and how it was made?

PC and Mac are both good but lets be realistic, PC's do everything, mac's do whatever they feel is safe, thats why they don't break that much.
