I have tested 3 different wireless carriers and their wireless internet speed in kbs. Each uses a different data spec. EDGE vs. EVDO Rev 0 vs. EVDO Rev A. These are very optimal speeds and I usually do not get this good from the road. I didn't bother to test Cingular since I hate them and I do not have access to a 3G (HSDPA/UMTS) device. Damn you Apple for that exclusive iPhone on Cingular deal for 2 years. Damn you all to hell! —richard

Don't worry about not testing Cingular. I have a few Verizon cards, a Sprint and a Cingular- the first two yeild very similar throughput, Cingular BLOWS CHUNKS!! (on par with the sub-28k modem speeds you find on T-Mobile)
