First time uploading? You'll want to read this.

Swivel only understands a very particular format of data: if your table is not in this format, the upload process will not be very successful. Review data guidelines if you'd like to learn more about simplifying the format of your data.

You clicked the option to upload a .csv file into Swivel -- here are some tips to help you out on the way. If you would rather copy and paste data into Swivel, go here.

Some webpages have tables on them that you may be interesting in uploading. Swivel will eventually be able to recognize that these tables are there and upload the tables automatically, but for now, it will involve some manual work. Check out these suggestions to make this process easier.

The editing that we are asking you to do before uploading into Swivel is simple. All this data manipulation can happen in Microsoft Excel or a similar spreadsheet program. We have created a Swivel Toolbar for Excel that will allow you to put your data in an ideal format for Swivel.

A lot of data are given over time. Swivel can understand many time and date formats, but just to be sure, see if your format is included in the list of formats Swivel currently supports (and definitely alert us if it is not).
