Check out this video called "The Great Global Warming Swindle." I am trying to get all of the data from this video, as well as from "An Inconvenient Truth" so that we can have a Swivel fact check!
Francis T. Manns, Ph.D from Artesian Geological Research sent me a great Powerpoint file about this subject. I will be uploading data from the file shortly. You can download the entire file here.
In a random data point that lines up with the video, it seems that there is global warming on Mars.
So I came across this really interesting site called Grist.org on the topic of global warming. It has some interesting back and forth about global warming. I emailed them and asked if they could contribute to Swivel. I hope that they can, because it would be extremely useful!

yoavlurie: This is the 2007 storm probability for every coastal county from the southern tip of Texas to the northern coast of Maine. Sadly, Swivel isn't doing what I want it to. (about 1 year ago)
Grizzo: yoavlurie, feel free to email me at chris@swivel.com and we can figure out how to get this data set doing what you want it to do. (about 1 year ago)
Swivel: Your graph was just spotlighted on the home page! Thanks for Swiveling! (about 1 year ago)
Grizzo: Christian, the countries included in the graph are the top five countries in terms of numbers of children adopted by families in the U.S. I don't believe that there is any intentional bias, it is just showing historical figures. (about 1 year ago)
swoodie: There are many other countries in the data set - but for each year, only the top 20 were available on the Dept of State site. (about 1 year ago)
Grizzo: For Japanese characters, Swivel can currently only accept Unicode text. If you have a text or spreadsheet editor, try to change the font for this dataset to Unicode first, then update it for better results. (about 1 year ago)
