This data shows the number of icing incidents reported in the last ten years. The amount is shown both as a count of the reports and as a percentage of all safety incident reports for the year. This dataset was created by searching the NASA ASRS (Aviation Safety Reporting System) for incident reports related to icing. The query was formed by selecting "weather" as the Primary Problem and searching on free text using the following string: "ic% OR rime OR rhime OR de-ice OR deice OR sleet OR frost.
