Jake Davis: It is surprising to see the effects that this treatment has. I never knew uranium pollution was an issue, atleast in water. What kind of treatment do they use though? I imagine it would be difficult to remove uranium from water, expecially is such small amounts. (4 months ago)

Ryan "liQuiD_SiLk" Meng: This removal of uranium is clearly essential to maintaining minimum pollution levels. As uranium is a radioactive element, could this possibly cause our fish to evolve? Do you think that radioactive mutation was a planned part of evolution? How much uranium is considered capable of causing human death? ericsawchak: Yay for progress! However, this data should be cross-referenced with the implementation of scrubbers. After all, factory processes may simply have become more efficient over the years, right? Either way, it liiks like some invention around 1997 started the downward trend. zkemp: I wonder if the cost increase is purely economic or if it is relative to the water quality. Is it possible that municipal water is being more and more thoroughly purified as the price increases each year? (4 months ago)
