Slam Conners:
It's surprising how much SO2 is produced by coal-burning and electricity-generating plants. It seems like me buying a Prius and a bunch of fluorescent light bulbs wouldn't actually do that much difference. Instead, we should all live in caves. And eat squirrels. Raw. I'm in.

Sammin' Slam is right. Caves are the way to go. Though, it probably wouldn't hurt to reduce electricity use. We should also switch to an alternate, low-to-no emission power source.
We should enslave all rats, gerbils, and other rodents, and make them run wheels.

ELIZABETH PICKERING:
Fossil fuel combustion seems like a broad category. Isn't that what cars and power plants do anyways? Other than that, everything else seems to be what I would expect, although like the others said, I would expect cars to contribute more comparatively. Although this is based in the U.S. and all cars are required to have catalytic converters...

It's interesting that the radon concentration after 3 and 4 weeks of treatment is higher than the concentration after 2 weeks of treatment.

Yeah, the same trend showed up in our data...the amount of pollutant actually increased, then decreased, then increased again on the final point.
Also, the negative concentration was probably derived from a model or regression of some kind. Who wants to sit around for six months watching radon, water, and a sheet of nothing that's too thin to see anyway?
